How is student data handled — is nOS FERPA-compliant?
Yes. nOS acts as a school official under FERPA. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, is never sold, and is never used to train AI models. The nOS AI Assistant is read-only and never writes back to your SIS.
Which student information systems do you support?
19 SIS platforms natively — including PowerSchool, Blackbaud, Veracross, Aeries, and Infinite Campus — plus CSV import for anything else. See the integrations page for the full list.
How long does it take to get started?
Most schools import their data and produce a first optimized, conflict-free master schedule within days — a full build is hours, not weeks. Guided mode walks you through every step.
What's the difference between nOS and the nOS AI Assistant?
nOS (nosplanner.com) builds and optimizes your master schedule. The nOS AI Assistant (nosassistant.org) is a separate, read-only app that answers plain-English questions about a schedule you already have. Use either on its own.

The scheduling platform is a flat annual license that starts at $8 per enrolled student, per year — no setup fees, no per-feature add-ons. Use the calculator above to estimate your school's cost. Final pricing is confirmed in your order form and can vary with enrollment size and multi-year terms. The nOS AI Assistant has its own Free, Plus, and Pro plans.
