What nOS handles
Four tracks can share a building sized for three.
A track is a team that is also a term on your calendar, and a term can have more than one stretch. A class that runs entirely while a track is off is closed to that track. If you name tracks but never say when they’re off, nOS tells you and shows you where to fix it.
Hexters, quinmesters, a January term between two semesters, or up to twelve terms you name yourself.
Every view filters by term, and the term running today is marked.
A rule can apply to one term only, such as “in the spring”.
What it doesn’t do
Track dates are in twelfths of a year, not days or weeks.
It doesn’t keep an attendance calendar for each student.
